We produce rigorous scientific data to guide the management of protected areas and the conservation of threatened species in the Congo Basin. By combining cutting-edge technologies (bioacoustics, GPS telemetry, camera trapping) with local capacity building, we fill critical knowledge gaps on biodiversity to inform management decisions and conservation status assessments.
Community Engagement
We strengthen the resilience of local communities while reducing pressure on natural resources through sustainable and inclusive socio-economic solutions. From connected beekeeping to alternative energy solutions, we turn environmental challenges into economic opportunities for youth, women, and indigenous peoples, creating green jobs aligned with conservation goals.
Ecotourism
We develop responsible ecotourism that generates income for local communities while directly contributing to biodiversity conservation. Through our brand “Visit Congo”, we offer authentic and educational experiences in the DRC’s iconic natural sites, with 30% of revenues reinvested in our conservation and community engagement programs for measurable and sustainable impact.
